RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 20 August 2026
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Kings of Tools. This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions for returns, withdrawals, refunds and claims.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer within the European Union or European Economic Area, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If an order contains several goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when you receive the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Kings of Tools clearly of your decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.
Please contact:
Please include your order number, name and sufficient information for us to identify your purchase.
You may also use any withdrawal or return functionality made available through our online store.
2. Returning a product after withdrawal
After notifying us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
Returns must be sent to:
Kings of Tools
Rungedamm 31
21035 Hamburg
Germany
Please do not send returns to any other address unless specifically instructed by Kings of Tools.
Returns must be sent directly to the return address. We cannot guarantee that parcels delivered to parcel shops, service points, lockers or other collection locations will be collected.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of shipment until your refund has been completed.
3. Condition of returned goods
You may inspect and handle the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, comparable to the inspection reasonably permitted in a physical store.
You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Where such diminished value has occurred, Kings of Tools reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the actual loss in value from your refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Please return the product complete and, where reasonably possible, with:
- its original packaging;
- accessories;
- manuals and instructions;
- protective components; and
- any other items originally supplied with the product.
Missing components, damage, contamination, excessive wear, signs of use beyond what is necessary for inspection, or damaged or missing product packaging may reduce the value of the product and may therefore result in a corresponding deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Original packaging is not, by itself, a condition for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.
4. Return shipping costs
When exercising your statutory right of withdrawal because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are also responsible for ensuring that the goods are adequately packaged for the return shipment.
If a product is defective, damaged when delivered, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us before returning it.
Where Kings of Tools is legally responsible for the non-conformity, Kings of Tools will bear the necessary and reasonable costs of returning the product.
5. Refunds following withdrawal
When you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, Kings of Tools will refund payments received from you relating to the purchase, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the relevant order.
If you chose a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost is not refundable.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal.
However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided satisfactory evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed.
We will not charge a fee for making the refund.
6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception under applicable consumer law applies.
This may include, for example:
- goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once unsealed; and
- other products or services specifically excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal under applicable law.
A product is not excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because Kings of Tools normally orders it from a supplier after receiving your order. An applicable legal exception must exist.
Where an exception applies, this will normally be indicated in the product information or otherwise communicated before purchase where required.
7. Defective, damaged or incorrect products
The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your legal rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods.
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us at:
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and, where useful, photographs showing the product, packaging and damage or defect.
Please do not return a defective product before receiving return instructions from us unless this is reasonably necessary.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract and refund.
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory statutory rights.
8. Business customers
The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by companies, sole traders, public authorities, organisations or other persons acting primarily for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession.
Returns by business customers require the prior written approval of Kings of Tools unless a statutory or expressly agreed contractual right of return applies.
Acceptance of a voluntary business return may be subject to reasonable conditions, including that the goods are unused, complete, undamaged and in saleable condition.
